Who this suits
For a good-fortune gift or welcoming entryway; a symbolic guardian or blessing space. Choose by the design, dimensions and the meaning you want to keep in view. These traditional symbols express wishes and intentions; they do not guarantee wealth, health or other outcomes.
Materials, motifs & meaning
Brass gourd; red cord and decorative coins; optional wood or brass base.
The hulu gourd has long associations with Daoist practice and wishes for well-being. Its rounded body and narrow neck make it a familiar blessing symbol. The written auspicious motifs express good wishes; the ornament is not a medical treatment. The Fu, Lu, Shou, Xi and Cai themes express wishes for blessing, prosperity, longevity, happiness and wealth.

Placement & care
Use a stable indoor surface with enough room for the complete base. Keep the piece dry and dust gently with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, prolonged direct sunlight and positions where it may fall. Choose a placement that suits your room; there is no universal wealth corner determined by the ornament alone.
